Oh billy, I like that! There are a few old trucks on my street kind of like this. When we’re out for walks my daughter gives them a pat/pet and says “Aw, nice truck!” (Except for the really nice ones...we just wave to them)

Unibody Ford, nice. I love this generation of Ford, so many neat
They first started with the Unibody, (but still body on frame) in ‘61, but shortly after started hearing about/discovering issues that if they were loaded heavy they would flex enough to jam doors shut/not let doors close. So midway through ‘62 the introduced what I like to call the “W
rong B
ox Fords”.
The Wrong Box trucks split the cab and bed again, but while they used the 61' cab, they didn’t have a box ready to go, so they simply attached the old style 1960 bed which didn’t match at all. They kept the uni body in production until ‘63 by which point the “wrong box” trucks were outselling them 2:1. Finally in 1964 they came out with a matching bed which lasted until ‘66. The ‘64-’66 trucks with the correct bed happen to be my favorite truck of all time.

I used to know a guy who had an old Apache in that color in about that condition. It was magnificent.
